You can characterize this book as a light romantic mystery which makes it a comfortable afternoon read. Samantha and Justin’s characters are well developed and realistic, making them easy to relate to. Overall, a nice cozy read!

  1. Although my mystery novels in the Kim Reynolds series are much darker in nature, I enjoy reading Carla Neggers, and this current novel is no exception. However, I would categorize it as a romantic mystery.
