“A Fatal Twist” By Tracy Weber Is Witty And Charming

In A Fatal Twist, Tracy Weber takes readers on a rollercoaster ride which is filled with witty language and humor. But things get exponentially worse when Kate finds the dead body of a philandering fertility doctor and sees Rachel, one of her yoga students, fleeing the scene.

In line with the tradition of many cozy PI novels, Kate sets out to find the real killer before her testimony condemns Rachel to a life behind bars. Why? Because she is convinced Rachel is innocent. Kate quickly realizes that there is no shortage of suspects so she digs deeper.

One of the elements of the story that we believe would be appealing for cozy mystery fans is that fact that Weber mixes Kate’s amateur sleuthing experience with some fun side stories: She still needs take care of three dogs. Her hands are also full with teaching yoga classes and searching for a crime-solving partner.

Filled with a lot details about the practice of yoga and humorous dialogues, this is a delightful cozy mystery.

Tracy Weber’s novel, in a nutshell, has given a face-lift to a sub-genre of mystery which has traditionally been dominated with old fashioned narratives. As a result, this book enjoys a modern narrative which is more digestible by younger generations and will satisfy whodunit appetites of mystery readers.
